Eyby prohibits the sale of most electronic equipment used for signal transmission or surveillance unless it complies with Kenyan communication and privacy regulations.
Most electronic equipment used to transmit or receive signals or for surveillance is not allowed. Those we allow must follow our policy.
To comply with Communications Authority of Kenya(CAK) regulations and to protect the safety and privacy of our members, there are restrictions around the sale of electrical and electronic equipment.
Signal jamming devices, unapproved transmitters, and odometer modification devices.
Unauthorized power-saving devices claiming to reduce electricity consumption.
Unauthorized and counterfeit electrical and electronic products.
Equipment and appliances violating local safety and efficiency standards, including certain light bulbs and high-frequency communication devices.
Activity on Eyby is required to follow this policy, the Eyby User Agreement and all applicable laws, as well as respect the rights of third parties. If it doesn’t, Eyby may take action consistent with applicable laws and the Eyby User Agreement, and may even be legally required to do so. Such actions may include, as an example only: Removing the listing or other content, issuing a warning, restricting activity or account suspension.
