DISASTER AND TRAGEDY POLICY

Listings, content or items that portray, glorify, or attempt to profit from human tragedy or suffering, or that are insensitive to victims of such events, are not allowed.

Showing respect and sensitivity to our global community of members is very important to Eyby. We don’t allow members to sell items that are hurtful to the victims of tragic events such as terrorist attacks or natural disasters.

 

What is the policy?
  • Listings and items that graphically portray, glorify, or attempt to profit from human tragedy or suffering, or that are insensitive to victims of such events, are not allowed

  • Items and media related to natural disasters or human tragedies that have substantial social, artistic, or political value, such as newspaper clippings or documentaries can be shared on our community content page in some circumstances

 

Activity on Eyby is required to follow this policy, the Eyby User Agreement and all applicable laws, as well as respect the rights of third parties. If it doesn’t, Eyby may take action consistent with applicable laws and the Eyby User Agreement, and may even be legally required to do so. Such actions may include, as an example only: Removing the listing or other content, issuing a warning, restricting activity or account suspension.
