Encouraging illegal activity policy

ENABLING INFRINGEMENT POLICY

Items sold using a brand name or a brand logo must be original and made by the brand or manufactured on their behalf. 

 

What is the policy?

Eyby is committed to upholding intellectual property rights and we do not allow listings or items that encourage or enable copyright or trademark infringement. We don't allow vendors to use Eyby to encourage or enable others to infringe on the intellectual property rights of third parties.

We prohibit vendors from using Eyby to promote or facilitate actions that infringe upon the intellectual property rights of third parties. This includes any hardware, software, products, or information that enables or encourages such infringement.

Examples of prohibited items and activities include, but are not limited to:

  • Any materials, tools, or equipment that are counterfeit or suggested to be used in a way that misrepresents their authenticity.

  • Listing products with trademarks or branding that are not owned or authorized by the vendor, particularly if intended to mislead customers.

  • Devices or tools designed to alter, disable, or bypass legal protections on construction equipment or materials, such as warranty voiding modifications.

  • Selling imitation parts or components that infringe on the intellectual property rights of the original manufacturers.

 

All activities on Eyby must adhere to this policy, the Eyby User Agreement, and all applicable laws, as well as respect the rights of third parties. If violations occur, Eyby may take actions consistent with applicable laws and the Eyby User Agreement, including, but not limited to: Removing listings or other content, Issuing warnings, Restricting activity or account suspension.

By maintaining a fair and lawful marketplace, we ensure a safe environment for all users and protect the rights of original creators and manufacturers.
