Pressure-Assist Toilets

Pressure-assist toilets provide a strong flush like tankless toilets without requiring a high-pressure water supply. They're typically used in high-traffic settings (more than 30 flushes per day) where water pressure is too low for a tankless toilet. These fixtures have a pressure vessel within their water tank that pressurizes air and releases it with the water for a high-powered flush. They eliminate double flushing to reduce water use and decrease the chance of clogs or backups to reduce maintenance. Compared to tank-style toilets, pressure-assist toilets have a louder flush, but leave a cleaner bowl after flushing. They're also less likely to sweat to help prevent drips and puddles around the bowl. Their separate bowl-and-tank design allows components to be replaced individually if they break and eases handling during installation and maintenance.
